Photoshop and Indesign

Whilst doing this project I used a variety of different technologies. The main one that I used was Photoshop, I had never used this software before and therefore it was interesting to find out how to navigate around it. There are a lot of interesting tools on Photoshop which were helpful for this project. I quickly learnt how to cut out the photos, and put them onto my pages easily. Another tool which I found helpful was the effects tool which I could use on the text and the pictures, for one of the pictures I put the Opacity down on it and then put the text over it. This made it easier to fit everything on the page, and easier to read the text, I felt it gave a good effect. I feel that I have learnt a useful skill by being taught how to use Photo shop, as I feel I know enough to be able to use it again in the future.

When we went to do the photo shoot, I had never taken pictures like that before, I had only taken photos, on a small digital camera, and that was for fun and not anything important or complex. Once we were shown all the buttons we needed it soon came naturally and so now I feel that if I'm required to use a camera like that in the future, I will be able to do so with ease.

This Blogger software I had never used before either, I feel that it is a little confusing, especially when I first started using it I didn't know which buttons to press, and I would end up pressing the wrong button and it would lead me to somewhere I didn't want. However I have used it a couple of times now and I feel that I have got better, and it is a little less confusing, however i don't think that I would choose to use it again, because it is confusing, a Little complicated and hard to navigate, therefore I wouldn't recommend it.

Overall I think that I have learnt a few extra skills, which could be used in the future.
