Progression from Pre-lim task
From when we first started our preliminary task, till when we finished our Music Magazine, I feel that I have progressed a lot, in the use of Photoshop especially, I feel that I have learnt more skills within the software, such as the effects that you can put on the text and the picture, also how to use different fonts which will suit the genre better, and stand out from the rest of the text. I feel that after I had deconstructed front pages, contents pages and double page spreads I had more of an idea how to set out my magazine pages, these acted as a template of which I could use to plan out my pages, one thing I took from one of the double page spreads was an arrow that was used, I used an arrow but in a different context, I used it for showing the success of my artist. Also after doing these constructions I had more of an idea of what I could include in the magazine therefore I knew what I wanted to write in y questionnaire, I wrote a more in depth questionnaire which got more me more answers which I could incorporate into my magazine pages. Also summarising my results helped me find out what the majority of people wanted to see, and therefore I knew what I had to include, what parts where the most important to the readers.
Therefore looking back at my preliminary task I feel that I have progressed a lot and that my final product shows what I have learnt and if I had more time, and had more skills in Photoshop and also getting the feedback that I did I could improve even more, but for now I feel that my pages show a good representation of my target audience, and also of my progression within the software's of which I have used.
